About Killarney Bike Festival

Back in 2006, the quiet town of Killarney found itself thunderously transformed when 5,000 members of the Harley-Davidson Owners Group rolled in for their annual European rally. The roar of the engines, the gleam of the bikes, and the camaraderie of the riders left an indelible mark on the town and its people.

Smitten with the motorcycle community, Killarney decided to create its own annual biker festival the very next year. With the support of Harley-Davidson, the Gleneagle Hotel, and Fáilte Ireland, Killarney’s free open biker festival was born.

Scrutineering and Ceremonial Start

This year’s rally will kick off with scrutineering of cars at 1.00 pm on Friday, May 3rd, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend filled with speed, skill, and pure rally magic. In addition, the traditional ceremonial start on Main Street on Friday night adds to the anticipation and builds up the adrenaline for what is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
