Scotts Bar first opened its doors in 1930 and under gone extensive refurbishments since then with out losing its charm. Our most recent refurbishment took place in November 2018 and transformed the bar with its cute snugs, it brought back the Trad Irish Bar feel.

Scotts Bar & Courtyard is a casual dining alternative to The Courtyard Restaurant and is open for morning coffee & scones, lunch, an evening meal or simply a drink.
The bar is located to the front of this historic building; the unique atmosphere of this award-winning bar offers both locals and guests an experience not to be forgotten. The bar is decorated to the highest standards in traditional style with a contemporary twist, comfort and relaxation foremost in mind. Sit back and relax in The Snug near the stove & enjoy the soft background music or chill out in the more spacious Scotts Bar.
Scotts Bar is now hosting live entertainment 7 nights a week in our Outside Courtyard Area in conjunction with the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media Department.
